Photographer, Kilimli, 1957.

He studied economics. ICP assistant in New York, He worked as a photo editor at National Geographic Turkey. He gave lectures in the photography, journalism, new media and architecture departments of universities. He wrote essays on photography and worked as a mentor and editor for independent photography projects. Among his works are Kuşbazlar (1997), New York Subway (2003), Arabesque (2007), Why Do We Take These Photographs? (2017), Koan (2020), "The Tragic Journey of Photography" 2024
